Letafet Hafizkizi was born in 1954 in a family of artist. Her father was famous azerbaijani artist Hafiz Mammadov. In 1968-1973 She went to high school of Azerbaijan State High School of Azim Azimzade and graduated with superior success diploma. Later in 1973-1978 she went to Azerbaijan State Art Univercity and graduated with superior success diploma. In 1978-1980 She worked in art groups in various cities of the Baltic states (Riga, Vilnius, Talimin) and received prizes. In 1979 she became a painter's association member of Soviet Union. From 1980 to 2001 she worked in Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University as a teacher, then chief resident and became a director of art section of the univercity.

In 2001 As an invitation to interstate exchange she moved to Turkey. SHe is currently working as an art teacher at Bakirkoy Public Education Center. She became a member of the artists association of Bakirkoy (BASAD) in Turkey.

She is a amember of UNESCO International Art Association and UNESCO International Plastic Arts Association.
